I'm author Gerald Helland. Let me welcome you to my website.  I live in the small town of St. Clair, Michigan with my wife, Genevieve Helland.  I grew up in the small farming community of Capac, Michigan.  So, I have been a life-long resident of Michigan.  The northern part of the state is my favorite.  I love taking drives through the countryside in the fall and enjoying the fall colors.  I have been writing books now for the past seven years. My favorite author is John Steinbeck. His book "Grapes of Wrath" is one of the best books I have ever read.  I also enjoy reading about American history.  The most important part of my life is my family.
